I love this! July 27, 2010 Miss Brat This is great for lower back pain. You can feel it stretching out your muscles along the spine and it really helps with stiff muscles!
Pleasant Surprise! July 16, 2010 SandiSays... My hubby's birthday was this past June and since what he really wanted (an inversion table) wasn't a practical purchase at this time, I researched the h*ll out of portable lumbar stretchers. This little baby had great feedback and was reasonably priced so I threw caution to the wind ... The hubby loved it! I love it! We don't use it EVERY day, but only when we feel tight or like our posture's been crap. It's pretty comfortable and feels like getting a massage b/c it really does help work out the tension. The hubby is about 200lbs and tends to raise his knees to his chest when he's using it. The first time he did that, we heard a loud crack from the stretcher, but it didn't seem the least bit compromised when we inspected it after, so the thing's sturdy. You never know what you're gonna get when you base it on other people's opinions, but this thing delivers what it says it will - a good healthy stretch.
Can't Recommend July 13, 2010 Alan Dale Daniel (St. George, UT, USA) My wife and I have both used this product, and neither of us like it. My wife has some back problems and the product hurt her when she tried to use it. After a few tries she gave it up. When I lay down on the product my back cracks in a few places, but afterward I can tell no real difference (I use it on the floor). It does not feel good when I lay on it; in fact, it hurts. Even after using it for a few weeks the thing still does not feel good to lay on because it hurts my back rather than helping it feel better. I bought the product with another neck product to help my wife and I with our neck stiffness, but that too failed to give any relief.
So... one star. Too bad, because I really wanted this to work.

it's worth the cost, you get what you pay for July 11, 2010 Dustin Mcclellan (Fort Smith, AR) Ok...so it's only rated for people 250lbs or less. I'm an ex arena football player and I'm still a solid 300lbs. When I use it, there is no fear of it breaking...it's very solid. I assume if you're a 110 soccer mom that teaches yoga every day, this will be great for you. The arch is very mild. I had been using a football and just rolling back and forth on it, this is just comfortable to lay on but I get no relief from it. If you want some real relief get the Spine-Worx or Lumbar Extender, they cost more but are well worth the money. If you're serious about back pain, pass on this. If you're a 110lb soccer mom...give it a try, my wife loves it.
Good product July 7, 2010 DT (CHICAGO) Had a similar one that was not padded and this is much better. Did need a pillow under my head but I did feel a difference and it really helped to stretch out my back.
