I bought this device because my son had one and it worked well.
It does a great job as long as you follow the directions.
The price was the convincing factor.

I could imagine this would be nice to check yourself before going into a vehicle or what not, but for my purposes of using this to test me and my friends' levels of sobriety, it's great. It's kind of annoying that it takes time after each test to reboot, but if you have some patience it's great.

This little gadget was the perfect thing we needed for our time in wine country. We did not have any issues with waiting too long for calibration (always less than 60 seconds). And we used it a lot during our vacation - never ran out of batteries, etc. So, it totally did the job. It was a lot more fun than I expected to know what your and your friends' blood alcohol level is. Plus it kept us safe. I would definitely recommend this product.

A good value for the money. It works great. It does take up to 30 seconds to reset. It seems very accurate. I had the more expensive model and I like this one better. I am going to get one for my son in college. I am not sure if it states it in the manual but it's most accurate if you wait 1/2 hour after drinking to use it.

This device takes a long time to activate. It starts counting down from 60 and then starts recounting down from 10, over and over again. This is not what you need when you are trying to decide whether to drive or not. New batteries does not solve this problem. This analyzer is JUNK. I am now looking to buy another one. The money spent on this one is wasted. Don't make the same mistake that I did.
