Traditionally, Damiana Leaf has been used by the people of Central and South America for hundreds of years. There it was first recorded by Spanish Missionaries as it was used by Mexican Indians, using Damiana leaves mixed with sugar as a powerful tea that enhanced lovemaking and worked as a powerful aphrodisiac. Don't expect a buzz from smoking this alone, an extraction or tea would be your best bet for that. And as far as the smoke I don't know what these other comments are complaining about, best taste and smoothness or the many damiana sources i've found.

Awful. The taste of this literally made me gag. As for the buzz, i don't know because it was so nasty that I couldn't smoke it long enough to find out. Was not worth the money AT ALL.

ahh i thought this would be something good to smoke but it didnt work at all, the taste is bad and its heavy smoke, plus the only way i even got a little buzz was when i put half the bag into tea, not worth it!!.

Did not meet the standards that I had hoped for. Seriously, if you smoke, this is not the alternative you were looking for. You do not get a buzz. And, you do not get any lucid dreams. On the other hand, if you like to smoke cigarettes, this products does exhibit a lot of smoke. Honestly, I would not buy this ever again. It was not the $2.00 plus shipping.
